The best thing about drafting a QB high is their relatively small cap hit on their rookie contract.
It would allow us (in the hypothetical scenario where we win Superbowl then trade Kirk while value is high) to use the newfound cap space in both lines, on extending players to make sure we don't have to let anyone walk, and signing free agents in key positions...... aka surrounding Mond with a reallllly nice team.......

We not winning the whole thing unless Kirk or another QB balls out when it counts. The league built like that nowadays. So if we win it Kirk would have to prove he has it.
Even the Eagles got home field and in position from a MVP season from Wentz. If Foles played all year they wouldn't have won it. Plus having a advantage of teams not having all season tape on him he balled out. Foles played top notch down the stretch to win it. A QB in this era has to play well to win it all.
