This is a no frills forum designed for entertaining discussion about our beloved Vikings. Many of us have been discussing Vikings football together for years/decades, resulting in a camaraderie which we strive to preserve.
Good to hear he's happy..... that goes a long way.... I knew this cycle he wouldn't have interest.... only concern was Patriots due to connections, but they went with a different (in house) candidate with connections.... next offseason, if some guys like Blackmon, Pace Jr, etc. Take a big step.... he could be a hot candidate.... but that's OK, because that would mean our team in 2024 is doing very well.... I'll take that trade off.....

Also if he leaves for a HC gig anytime after this season we would at least get the pick compensation (we wouldn’t have if he left this offseason). I’d rather he stay long-term, but at least it would be something…

Btw.... obviously getting way ahead of ouraelves which a statement like this.... I LOVE Flores as our DC.... but should KOC fail as HC and get fired.... I would NOT want Flores as HC.... his tenure (as HC) with Dolphins was very messy..... I'd rather we go the route of outside candidates for HC if that time ever comes (hopefully it doesn't and KOC proves he can win).... my hope is that whenever we end up looking to hire our next HC in the future, that Tomlin will be available and that his time in Minnesota draws him back to the state.... Tomlin is my favorite HC in the NFL.....

I don't know. People change all the time and hopefully learn from their mistakes. Would Flores be the same kinda coach as he was in Miami? I doubt it. Sometimes I don't think its a bad thing to get a HC on his second time around. All depends on what kind of mistakes he made. Where they just people handling skills or was the guy just a dumbass.
