I know you hate Penix. That’s how I feel about Nix. I’d be good with Penix but at this point it would feel like a failure if that’s who who they end up with.

So we’re looking at 3 possible scenarios for the upcoming draft


Trade 2 1sts 25 1st minimum to move to 3 and take Maye


Trade 2 1sts minimum to move to 5 and take McCarthy


Sit at 11 take edge or DT and then take Penix Jr/Nix pick your poison at 23



What’s your top scenario and how would you rank these?




I'm on #3.   I think Nix is as good as either of the top 5 and IMO, has the best arm out of all of them.  He improved his game 10 fold with his move to Oregon's high octane offense, he's big, strong and mobile.     Take advantage of this opportunity to get a blue chip player at 11, there will be a lot of talent there including Edge, Corner, LB and WR/TE...  DO NOT trade the future for something that is NOT a sure thing..

The Maye one.

I like JJ but Maye would be the best option if I had a choice by a hair but Maye.

I would go right in order love the first two. Hope not on the 3rd option

Option 1 for sure. If you would’ve told me we are going to trade our 2023 and 2024 1st and 2nd for #3 a couple weeks ago? Which is essentially what we will have done with option 1, sign me up.
