Darn was really hoping he might resign
I would’ve had no problem paying him 10 million to keep him. I figured he would be asking at least 15 per season.
I don’t think Peterson would have accepted the same deal here. Probably would have felt disrespected.
Don’t let the door hit you, pal.
I think him leaving is for the best.
Best to PP21. One of the best to ever play for the Cards!!!
Oof, PP is ripping them off.
Time for him to go. Could’ve traded him for a 1st round pick 2 years ago.
i appreciate P2s tenure here
i think he was the first premium player who actually sounded excited to be in Arizona.
high caliber player for many years

I wish him well, glad we had him, and it became apparent it was time to move on when he couldn't handle a bad season.
I heard on the Rundown on 98.7 that ARZ's number was around $6M for PP, if that's true then I am not surprised he took the $10M but maybe radio guys were speculating.
Let Vance Joseph have the zone CBs he wants, I suppose. Patrick always struggled in those concepts.
Phew.
With that said.. no ill will. Good luck elsewhere.

Early PP? Loved him. Exciting interceptions and big TD returns to keep us in or flat out win games for us.
Recent PP? PED suspension, social media gaffes, less than stellar play, and a focus more on his podcast than work on the field.
Not sad to see him go to the Vikes.

imo in zone at this stage of his career, he's just a guy
If vance wants to run zone, he's not worth paying a premium.
Wouldn't have minded him back and wish him luck, but I don't think we lost something irreplaceable to how he would play vance's system.

Weird one.
Keim couldn't offer a 1 year deal due to the cap hit.
I'm guessing he offered 2-3 years at not much more than the Vikings and P2 wants to gamble on FA next year.
Feels weird him moving for this deal though. Freezing his *** off in Minny for a 1 year deal.

Cards should have tried to keep him for 1 more year. Not sure if they could have though.
Not glad to see him go but now I hope he flops!
I can only imagine the level of show boating if he manages to do anything when Cards play them this year smdh

This move feels more like a Nash to Lakers move. Would not surprise me if we got rid of PP at just the right time.
PP was a great Cardinal. P2 will be missed more than you think why? Keim failed to fix the CB opposite of P2. Now, Keim is going to find two starters? LOL.
It's easy to forget how good PP was before his suspension. There were many years where we essentially didn't need to worry about one receiver on the other side. Lockdown CBs like that don't come around very often.
We will target him just like other teams did last year.
PED less PP is a major liability for the Vikings. Can you image him trying to tackle Rondale Moore in the open field? He would have better chance catching a chicken. Throw early and often his way.
One thing aboutPP he is still First Team All Mouth.
He runs from tackles like a vampire from a stake.
It was just time to move on
Now PP21 can make Business Decisions for the Vikings. He is the best ghost tackler I have ever seen.
Its an end of an Era, best of luck to one of the all-time Cardinal greats.
Great player in his prime
Not going to sugar coat it
I hated the PEDS thing.
Never the same.

He's past his prime now, but he was our last great draft pick.
When the Viqueens come here next year. We know what we need to do. Run to his side every time. Let’s make him make business decisions. I won’t miss him but appreciate what he did for us.
$10M on a prove it deal tells me there wasn't a lot of suiters for PPs services. He's gonna hate Minnesota and no chance of finding a ring there. Good luck.
Fantastic draft pick and excellent player for us until the last few years.I wish him success. Our two best recent draft picks (aside from Murray) may end up playing in Minn, both well past their primes.
I would have taken him back at $6 million with some incentives as a CB2, but knew the ego would require more. I’m not sure a one year prove it deal was wise for him.

This is what I will say. PP was worth our 1st round pick. In fact it was one of our best. Despite some of his antics, I wish him the best.
If all of our first round picks were as good as him, we would have won the SB by now.

He’s not worth 10 mil the vikes overpaid. Honestly, I wouldn’t have even given him 4mil. PP is just a liability in secondary at this point in his career. Shutdown corners are mostly not tackling machines that’s not their primary mission. But when u can’t shutdown anymore & don’t tackle you gotta go.
Patrick Peterson was fun to watch and impressive the first half of his career. He scared every QB, and maybe himself. He was that good. Then the showboat bug bit him. It was all down hill after that me-me-me behavior set in.
Remember these issues? Peds. Helicopters. Dumb acts at the ARZ v. CAR playoff game. Trade demands. Days off, games off.
MIN is a nice place to work and play football during cold weather days. I wish Patrick Peterson and the family all the best.

A declining athlete who bolstered his career with PED's and now leads the league in holding penalties instead of INT's. Good riddance!!
I have no doubt p2 will tear it up in Minnesota he played like sht the last two years to guarantee his way out of Arizona that’s why he didn’t even fight the 6 game suspension
Much love to PP21, but I hope that Nuk burns ya!
MIN's sports heads are happy with the addition of PP21. He'll probably make a couple splash plays in games 1-4 and then take off the rest of the year. Just like PP21. Of course he'll want to get an INT when he comes to town vs. KM, but that ain't going to happen. More likely, PP21 will be on his butt, watching #1 speed past him for 6.
he was a dominate player for many years with us. I'm not saying we should not let him go at this time, but its like too many here think he was a joke when he was anything but that. I just want to give credit when credit is due
Believe me, I'm not a fan of his character. For whatever reason, most great CB's are divas. I just think it takes that mind set to be a good one...
