It’s like he was never really here. Guy was invisible the entire year.
Lol who
He showed up for a couple of games early in the year but that's about it.
Looked promising early and then the olines gelled and he disappeared. Backup and meh in our system.
He's a good guy, but he never really had the chance to make his mark here thanks to injuries. Minnesota seems to be a better fit.
ill miss him.... when i try to remember the 2020 roster 2-7 years from now
Fun times, Brian Burns' brother calling out #91 on twitter...
Happy for him! Pretty sure he was injured most of the year.
Good luck to him, no one here will remember him in a few years.
Never heard of her?
Was a super interesting dude. Hopefully things pick up for him back in Minnesota.
I defended him a little, did improve the run support that was last in the nfl 2019. Then he wouldnt play with a injured finger......there are rare finger injuries that could be further damaged with play, this was not one of them. He is not a Rhule type of player, and I also soured on him too after that stunt.
He seemed like an odd bird, I like odd birds too bad he didn't pan out here
I liked him after seeing him on Panthers Huddle, initially... but, then after Zack said what he did here about how he handled his injury, I was not impressed.
I never expected much from him. Was always a weirdly hyped signing IMO.
What’s to stop him from getting complacent with the Vikings now? I wouldn’t want this dude on my team
He may not be anything special but at least he admits he didn’t try. Makes sense now.
He’s got a lot going on outside of football. I can see him moving on pretty soon, I don’t really think his heart is in it enough.
Nobody's immune to complacency. He's blessed to have another shot in the NFL.
I was disappointed with him, and far as I'm concerned, he should stop wasting time playing. He obviously doesn't have the drive.
i don't think that's on Hurney. I got it as he showed promise and you give him some money and he gets fat and lazy and he admits it.
the fact we continued to play him before he got sent to IR even when his production and effort wasn't there is still beyond me
So he basically got his money finally and then rested on laurels.
#HurneyMagic
Good bye and Good riddance. There is no way i want someone like him on the Panthers.
Incredibly unprofessional conduct by Weatherly.
Who?
Yep, he wasn’t that good at all. This is just an excuse to make it seem like he could have been better.
stephen weatherly was a big disappointment. he had a lot of hype coming in that this was some upcoming guy who was going to take a leap with a bigger role but he really faded even behind the rookies on the line
