That is a true statement. We was similar teams from when I was born until they got Reid. Then the hit Mahomes. I think Reid was the biggest key especially early. Again situation matters. Reid arguably near the very top of offense minds. If he drafted let’s say Allen. I wonder would Mahomes have 3 and Allen 0. No way to know but I have my opinions on that.
You always have a chance out a funk with great decisions from the top on down.

That’s why I try to ease up a tad on Pennix. Because he has flaws, but like you said that can be coached. In the right situation most these guys have talent. It comes to situations in QB. Good thing I think we provide a outstanding chance to develop our guy. QB is flat hard to determine.

That’s my point to wait and see what moves they make. If they bring Kirk back they have zero interest in winning a championship. Middle of the road. They really need to ring that QB

Mark was quoted saying that he wants championships. The goal is to win the division which allows us to compete to get our ultimate goal of winning super bowl championships.

Their championship-style management started shortly after the 2017 draft. From 1994 until 2014 the Chiefs didn't win a playoff game. That be 21 years, 7 coaches, 4 GMs...........

Brett Leach has drafted very well since 2017. Keep in mind that Reid had GM John Dorsey and a vet QB before Leach came along. Mahomes changed everything!

Not me. I do t want Penix on this team.
. I don’t like him either Hut. The team might and I promised to be easy on them for a bit if they granted my biggest wish.
You know where my heart is and it’s not with Penix, but I can’t say I never been wrong with a QB.
On WRs trust drank in QBs I’m good some years and not so others.
I hated Bryce Young every one knows it. But I want Richardson last year Stroud 2nd.
Addison and Pace was two I endorsed and tada they were good year one. Pennix would not be my guy but it’s not up to me. Maye, Daniels, or McCarthy I want any of those 3. If they let Kirk go I not gonna be overly negative. I will let my opinion be heard you know your boy. Each move I voice my initial opinion then after that wait on the results.
